The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
McLumberg lands a nice shot that snaps Kovrov's head back.
McLumberg lands a head kick. Kovrov smiles back at him and beckons him forward.
Kovrov lands a big head kick that sends McLumberg tumbling to the mat! Kovrov takes a step backwards and waves McLumberg back to his feet - he wants the finish!
It looks like Jack McLumberg has been cut.
This has been an exciting period of action!
McLumberg works over Kovrov's head and body with a nice combination.
Sloppy strikes from Kovrov. Those never looked like landing.
McLumberg doesn't manage to clinch there - Kovrov circles away.
McLumberg loads up on a big right hand but Kovrov slips the punch.
McLumberg fails to land with a series of punches.
Kovrov lands a big head kick that sends McLumberg tumbling to the mat! Kovrov takes a step backwards and waves McLumberg back to his feet - he wants the finish!
McLumberg is rocked!
Kovrov circles away from the clinch attempt.
McLumberg is still on wobbly legs! Can Kovrov finish him?
Kovrov is looking to land body kicks.
McLumberg seems to have recovered his senses.
McLumberg misses with a straight right.
Kovrov throws a head kick but McLumberg moves out of range.
Kovrov slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.
McLumberg throws a sloppy head kick and Kovrov moves out of range easily.
McLumberg closes the distance but Kovrov moves to the side
and Kovrov counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
McLumberg looks to clinch
and Kovrov counters with a big right hand! Oh McLumberg is in trouble here! Kovrov follows up with more strikes and that's it! The ref has stopped it!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:50 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Alexsandr Kovrov!
