Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Curtis Henry (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Quentin John (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Henry comes to the cage accompanied by Tear the Club Up. I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Henry bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps John's head backwards.

It looks like Quentin John has been cut.
John goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.

It looks like Curtis Henry has been cut.
Henry looks for a takedown but John sprawls well.
Henry throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
John misses with a wild body shot.
John moves away from the strike by Henry .
A punch combination from Henry misses.
Henry connects with a looping right hand.
This has been an exciting period of action!
John throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Henry swinging wildly here.
John takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Henry moves out of range as John strikes.
John misses with a jab, cross combination.
Henry tries to score a power double leg takedown but John sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Henry somewhat.
John ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Henry moves away.
John misses with a double jab.
John throws a hook but Henry avoids it easily.
Henry misses with a wild combination.
John slips under a jab.
Henry rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but John moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Henry shoots in looking for a takedown. John tries to sprawl out of it but Henry keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. John manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Curtis Henry . That's going to take a lot out of him.
Henry is breathing heavily.
Henry misses with a combination
and John counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
John connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.
John cracks Henry with a nasty uppercut that draws ooohs from the crowd and sends Henry tumbling backwards onto the mat. He tries to recover but John pounces and lands a hail of unanswered strikes that forces the referee to step in to end the fight! Henry is not happy but he gave the referee no choice!
