Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Felix McGuirk (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Miladin Kovacevic (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). McGuirk kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Brothers of Metal. Kovacevic has chosen Rocknrolla' as his entrance music. Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Felix McGuirk!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 7 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Miladin Kovacevic!
The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, Frank Antenori and Timothy Bukovac.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kovacevic throws a mid kick that lands with a slap.
A kick lands to the mid section there for Kovacevic.
McGuirk is breathing heavily.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Kovacevic lands a nice leg kick that just misses McGuirk's sensitive parts.
McGuirk on the wrong end of a nice jab.

It looks like Felix McGuirk has been cut.
That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! McGuirk crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Kovacevic - the referee stops the clock and McGuirk gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Kovacevic. McGuirk manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.
A punch lands to the side of McGuirk 's head but he takes it in his stride.
A decent looking body kick lands there for Kovacevic.
Kovacevic bobs and weaves and then throws a good body kick.
Ooooh, nice body kick lands from Kovacevic. McGuirk shrugs it off though.
Kovacevic throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.
Kovacevic swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Nice shot lands for Kovacevic.

Felix McGuirk's cut is getting worse.
McGuirk takes a nasty kick to the mid section... That should keep him thinking. Does he try and block and risk a head kick landing?
Kovacevic lands a nice looking body kick.
McGuirk will be looking to protect his midsection after taking some solid kicks to the body.
McGuirk sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs.

Kovacevic lands a high kick to the side of McGuirk's head that stuns him and send him tumbling down to the canvas! Kovacevic dives into guard, looking to finish.

McGuirk is rocked!
Kovacevic postures up, still in guard. A huge hammer fist lands that bounces McGuirk's head off the mat! McGuirk is out! He's out! Kovacevic jumps to his feet and celebrates with his corner!
