Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Ryan Atwood!
The judges for this bout are Lou da Vinci, Joseph Jones and Eddie Farnsworth.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rua tries to keep at a distance but Atwood has taken the fight into the clinch.
Atwood gets underhooks to prevent Rua's takedown attempt.
Atwood jumps guard and drags Rua to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.
Rua stops Atwood from standing up.
Rua thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
Atwood is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.
Rua stands and throws Atwood's legs to the side, diving into side control.
Atwood is pushing Rua's head away, looking to escape. Rua manages to hold on to the position though.
Rua in side control, throwing shots but Atwood defends.
Atwood is trying to get back to his feet.
Rua is working for what looks like an arm triangle here. Atwood is trying to escape and Rua transitions quickly into an armbar! He's slapped it on tight and Atwood is forced to tap! Nice work there by Rua! Very nice indeed!
