The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

madgwick feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
madgwick passes easily into side control. Nice work.
madgwick fails to land a wild elbow strike.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
madgwick lands a knee to the body and a forearm to the face.
madgwick tries to land with some ground and pound but misses.
The ground and pound from madgwick seems to be hitting the mat more than his opponent.

Pan knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for madgwick on the ground.
Pan wriggling around on the bottom manages to avoid the strikes thrown by madgwick.

Pan is wriggling around trying to escape.
Pan tries to lock up and control but madgwick gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.

madgwick lands with some vicious ground and pound - can Pan hang on?

Pan is rocked!
madgwick postures up and connects with a big shot that has rocked Pan badly. He's trying desperately to grab hold of madgwick around the waist but madgwick pushes him off and unloads with more strikes, forcing the referee to jump in and save him! madgwick is the winner by TKO! madgwick jumps onto the cage and shouts into the camera. "We did it momma!"
