The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ross's corner calls for a 1-2. Ross obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.
Ross connects with an inside leg kick.
Gracie misses with a takedown
and Ross counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Gracie fails with the takedown
and Ross counters with a left and a right that stings Gracie.
Ross lands with a shot to the body.
Gracie takes one on the button.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

and Ross makes him pay by landing a thudding low kick.

Ross throws a leg kick which misses Gracie's front leg but catches the back leg as Gracie tries to avoid it.
Ross fakes a jab and scores with a low kick.

Rick Ross is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

Gracie is rocked!
Ross explodes with a nice body kick and back out of range. Nice work.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Ross throws a mid kick that lands with a slap.
Ross scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard.
Carl Gracie seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Ross pounces like a tiger and cracks Gracie with a vicious hook! Gracie is down but not out! Ross follows up with more strikes forcing the ref to jump in and stop it!
