The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Jones instigates a clinch.
Fillipo is working for takedown but Jones is calmly controlling the position for now.
Jones working aggressively here.
Jones swings away with an uppercut that misses.
Fillipo is trying to break free.
Fillipo tries for a takedown but Jones manages to get underhooks.
Jones gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Fillipo.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Mathew Fillipo. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Fillipo can't get the takedown.

Jones manages to break the clinch.
Fillipo tries for a takedown but Jones sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Fillipo fails miserably with a takedown attempt.

Jones pushes Fillipo up against the cage in a clinch.

Fillipo has Jones pressed up against the cage. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. Fillipo pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending Jones tumbling to the mat - Fillipo dives into Jones's guard.
Jones preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage.

Jones is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.

Jones wriggles free and stands up.
Jones drops Fillipo with a left right combo! Jones follows him down to the ground into side control.

Fillipo is rocked!

It looks like Mathew Fillipo has been cut.
Fillipo is not in a great position here, taking some shots.
Oh Fillipo is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!

Jones stands up.
Jones throws a right and a left that both miss.

Jones cracks Fillipo with a big right hand that sees him stumbling back against the cage! Fillipo falls to his knees and Jones doesn't need a second invitatation - he rushes in and fires off several unanswered shots that force the referee to stop the fight! This one is all over!
