Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Kari Peippo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Vay Krenshaw (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Peippo comes into the arena with Public Enemy - Terminator X to the Edge of Panic blaring out of the sound system. On his way into the cage it seems that Kari Peippo has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Kari Peippo seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

The judges for this bout are Roosa Järviläinen, Arvi Lind and Matti Vanhoillinen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Krenshaw tries to bum rush Peippo with a series of wild strikes but Peippo uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Krenshaw misses with a double jab
and Peippo makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.
Krenshaw looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Peippo misses the body punch
and Krenshaw counters with a nice uppercut.
Peippo misses with a looping right.
The fighters circling - Peippo throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Krenshaw tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Peippo was well out of range. Poor timing from Krenshaw.
Krenshaw's corner calls for a 1, 2 combination and Krenshaw duly obliges.
Peippo dodges the punch combination from Krenshaw.
Krenshaw misses with a looping left.
Peippo keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.

and Krenshaw counters with a lovely shot to the body.

and Krenshaw counters with a series of strikes. Peippo will be more careful next time no doubt.

so Peippo counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Peippo sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Krenshaw's guard.
Peippo is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Krenshaw defends it well.
Peippo content to sit in half guard and control for a moment.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Peippo stops Krenshaw from getting back to his feet.
Peippo frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount.
Peippo lands a big shot there that rocks Krenshaw but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Krenshaw squirming around on the bottom, looking to escape.
Peippo scores with a couple of good head shots there.
Krenshaw looks gassed!
Peippo lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning.
Krenshaw is rocked!
Peippo postures up and lands a whopping elbow - oh that's hurt Krenshaw bigstyle! Two more strikes land for Peippo and the fight is over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:01 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Kari Peippo!
