The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Marciano rushes Olajide and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.

Olajide is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. Marciano can't fight it off and eventually Olajide manages to take the fight to the floor. Marciano looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard.

Marciano seems a little lost for a moment, as Olajide dominates the positioning.

Olajide wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Marciano, who protects the arm well.

Marciano is working to avoid the ground and pound but Olajide connects with a decent elbow.
Olajide remains in side control and seems content to stay there. It's a versatile position from which he can work both strikes and submissions, whilst maintaining that control, so maybe he'll sit here for a while.

Olajide connects with a decent looking elbow from side control that caused Marciano some visible discomfort.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Olajide tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Olajide has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

Olajide closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Marciano to the mat! Marciano manages to get full guard.

Olajide drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Olajide jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Olajide has worked his way into a potential kimura here. Marciano is trying to get out of the position but his squirming has just got him deeper into trouble. Olajide yanks on the arm and Marciano is forced to tap due to a very painful looking submission! Nice work by Olajide.
