Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Getin Miguard (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dwayne Jack (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Miguard comes to the cage accompanied by 36 Mafia- Its A Fight. We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Jack drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.

Miguard has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Jack can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Jack accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Jack drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Miguard dives on top into guard.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Jack can do anything to dispel that myth.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Getin Miguard.

Miguard manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Jack on his heels. He'll look to pass Jack's guard now, I'm sure.
Miguard is fighting to break Jack's control of his arms but Jack is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment.

Miguard stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Jack swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Jack lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Miguard!
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.

Miguard really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Jack really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Miguard. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Jack moves into side control, trying to work for a kimura. That looks painful! Will he finish!!?? No, Miguard has worked his arm free - good work by Miguard!
Jack lands a knee to the body and follows it up with some ground and pound to the head. That will wear Miguard down.

Jack swings around for an armbar but Miguard sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Jack's guard.

Miguard has his hand under the chin of his opponent looking for the choke. He's nearly got it! This one could be all over! But no, Jack has freed his hand and lives to survive another… well, another couple of seconds at least!

Miguard feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Well Jack has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
