The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wright throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Koothrappali's waist but Koothrappali gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Wright off to one side.
Koothrappali displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Wright.
Wright tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Koothrappali walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Wright checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.
