Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Kane Benga (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Aaron Epps (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Kane Benga!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Aaron Epps!
The judges for this bout are Saam Ante, Daniel Blasius and Patrick Alders.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Epps cracks Benga with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.
Benga throws a left and a right that both miss
and Epps counters with a stiff right hand.
Benga misses with a telegraphed body shot

and Epps counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Epps.
Epps misses with the head strike.
A frustrated look appears on Epps's face as he tries to break the clinch.
Epps stalling here - the referee won't stand for too much of that.
Epps gets underhooks to prevent Benga's takedown attempt.
Benga wants a takedown but no success here.
Epps tries a body shot but Benga blocks it.
Epps is struggling to control the position.
A short left from Epps.
Epps has a couple of punches blocked by Benga.
Benga changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Epps fights it off and pushes away nicely.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Kane Benga. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Benga fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Epps avoids it really well and circles away.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Benga.
Aaron Epps is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Benga fails to land with a series of punches.
Epps thuds a left hand into Benga's body.
Epps lands the left hand.
Epps ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Benga swings away with a body shot that misses
and Epps counters with a right hand to the body.
Benga is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
Benga is breathing heavily.
Benga closes the distance and clinches up with Epps, looking for a takedown. Benga pushes Epps against the cage but Epps circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Epps thuds a left hand into Benga's body.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Epps moves into range and connects with a jab.
Epps connects with a good right hand that stumbles Benga. Benga circles away out of range and recomposes himself.


Benga is rocked!
Benga switches off momentarily and Epps cracks him with a monster right hand! Benga topples backwards and makes a semi conscious attempt to cover up, as Epps dives in to land one more shot, before the referee has time to call the fight. What a finish by Epps!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:37 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Aaron Epps!
