Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Johny Jones (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kerim Sattler (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kerim Sattler will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Johny Jones! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Kerim Sattler! The judges for this bout are Ren Mimura, Taro Takaoka and Kenichi Hosakawa.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Jones tries to score a power double leg takedown but Sattler sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Jones somewhat. Jones throws a head kick that misses. Jones tries to close the distance and clinch up but Sattler swats him away and circles back towards the center. Jones stuffs the takedown. Sattler tries to clinch up and Jones counters with a nice double leg into guard. Jones won't allow Sattler to sweep him here. Jones wants to control from the top but Sattler keeps moving. Jones knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Sattler on the ground. Jones avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Jones tries to stand but Sattler is controlling from the bottom.
That's one minute gone in the round. Sattler doesn't do any damage with a couple of strikes from the bottom.
Jones preventing the sweep. Sattler is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Jones is controlling him. Jones will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Jones trying to control but Sattler is working from the bottom. The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Johny Jones. Jones shoots and misses enabling Sattler to counter with a crisp jab.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Sattler shoots in and drives through. Jones sprawls well. Sattler misses with a jab, cross combination.
Sattler sizes up Jones with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle. Jones staying out of range there. Both fighters circling a little - Jones finishes the exchange with a kick to the body. Sattler looks gassed! Sattler throws a right and a left that Jones avoids nicely. Sattler is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Jones. Jones really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Jones has managed to clinch.
Jones drags the fight down to the ground.
Jones wants to stand but Sattler is controlling the position. Jones pulls Sattler in to control the position.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Jones is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Jones is looking to stand up but Sattler isn't so interested in that idea. Jones is trying to control the position from the bottom.
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace. Sattler prevents Jones from getting back to his feet.
The ref stands the fighters back up. Johny Jones wasn't doing enough on the ground. Jones looks to land a body kick but Sattler moved away. Jones fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Sattler manages to avoid it. Jones shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Sattler but Sattler pushes him off and we're back to square one. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Johny Jones. That's going to take a lot out of him. Sattler staying out of range there.
That's four minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Jones is looking to land body kicks. Sattler tries to clinch but fails miserably so Jones counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility. Jones won't allow Sattler to get back to his feet. Jones trying to control but Sattler is working from the bottom. Jones loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. Jones would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard. The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring. Jones won't allow Sattler to get back to his feet. Sattler wants to get back to his feet but he's too absorbed in his own little project and Jones manages to pass to side control. Sattler is looking to control Jones's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Sattler avoid being mounted?
That's five minutes gone in the round. Jones wants to pass to mount but Sattler is defending the position. Sattler looking for submissions off his back. Jones is figuring out what he wants to do next. Jones throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage. Sattler slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work.
That's six minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Jones is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions. Jones postures up.
Sattler might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Jones kaven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time. Sattler wants to stand up but Jones is controlling him.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Jones rushes Sattler and presses him up against the ropes. Sattler misses with a punch on the inside.
Jones pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Jones showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Sattler.
Jones shoots in and drives through. Sattler sprawls well.
That's seven minutes gone in the round. Jones throws a right hand that Sattler ducks under and follows up with a left that Sattler also avoids with ease. Sattler throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Sattler misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Jones misses with a wild body shot. Jones pushes Sattler up against the ropes in a clinch. Sattler tries a knee to the head but he's missed.
Jones jumps guard but Sattler stands there with Jones around his waist. Jones gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.

Sattler tries to pull guard but Jones holds him up against the ropes and eventually Sattler drops back down to his feet.
That's eight minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Jones breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Sattler misses with a wild body shot. Jones fails miserably with a takedown attempt. Jones tries to clinch up but Sattler circles away and keeps his distance. Sattler throws the kick towards the body but Jones avoids it. No luck with that takedown attempt from Jones. Johny Jones seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Sattler doesn't manage to clinch there - Jones circles away.
Jones takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
Sattler tries to close the distance and clinch up against the ropes but Jones paws at him with a jab and circles away.
That's nine minutes gone in the round. Jones fails with a takedown attempt from distance. Sattler has managed to clinch.
Jones keeps control of Sattler as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks. Sattler is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the ropes. Jones is leaning against Sattler and scores with a nice uppercut to the body. Jones pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Sattler blocks a head kick by Jones.
Sattler thows a body kick. Jones tries to catch it but that hurt him. Sattler lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw. No luck with that takedown attempt from Sattler. Sattler is looking to clinch but Jones is avoiding it.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Johny Jones dominated that round. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
Jones looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. Sattler tries to close the distance and clinch up but Jones swats him away and circles back towards the center. A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Jones. Sattler throws a hook but Jones blocks it. Jones moves into the clinch successfully.
Sattler gets control of Jones's arms and successfully pulls guard. Sattler will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Sattler is looking to stand up but Jones isn't so interested in that idea. Jones stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Sattler swivels though and keeps the full guard. Sattler has managed to work for a loose triangle. I think Jones should be able to defend this one pretty easily though. Oh, Sattler has tightened it up now! Jones should have reacted faster there - he's in big trouble and yes, he's tapped out! This one is all over!
