Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between shane carwin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Stanley Domeus (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Domeus has chosen Schism as his entrance music. shane carwin has a significant reach advantage - let's see if he can make it count.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

carwin bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
Domeus tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but carwin wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.
Domeus tries to control the position but he's not in luck - carwin easily slips into full mount!
Domeus is in all sorts of trouble here.
carwin will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

carwin gets to his feet and calls his opponent to stand. Here come the fireworks!

and carwin counters by moving into the clinch.

carwin tries to stall but Domeus uses the opportunity to gain a better position.
With the two fighters working up against the cage, carwin just misses with a elbow thrown towards Domeus's brow.

carwin is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Domeus defends it well.
Domeus tries to get to full guard but carwin has control of the leg.

carwin stands up and beckons Domeus to join him on the feet.

carwin has one foot on Domeus's thigh - he pushes off and manages to get back to his feet.
carwin feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Domeus's calf.
carwin fails in his attempt to clinch.

Domeus closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

carwin is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Domeus's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Domeus's back!

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

carwin is looking for the choke from the back position but Domeus is controlling his hands well.
