Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Jon Jonas (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Carlos Cascella (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world.

Cascella clobbers Jonas with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Jonas tries to bum rush Cascella with a series of wild strikes but Cascella uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

Cascella is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Cascella tries to clinch but fails miserably
and Jonas counters with a three punch combo that has Cascella backing up. Cascella nods at Jonas to acknowledge the strikes.
Cascella takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.

Both these guys seem content to just stand up and trade with eachother but Cascella might want to think about changing up his gameplan a bit because over the course of the fight, Jonas has got the better of the exchanges.

Jonas throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Cascella stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.

Cascella takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.

Cascella shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down.

My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.
