PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Walt Heisenberg (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Zap Rosdower (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rosdower comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Take The Night Off kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Zap Rosdower is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rosdower wants to clinch.

Heisenberg gets caught flat footed, as Rosdower shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
Rosdower tries to free his leg and advance position but Heisenberg is retaining full guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Heisenberg ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Rosdower moves away.

Heisenberg stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Rosdower swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Zap Rosdower has forced the referee to step in and restart the fight on the feet.
A looping hook to the body misses from Heisenberg. Rosdower does a little dance to reset his feet.
Rosdower moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot.
Rosdower shoots for a double leg takedown but Heisenberg sprawls well. He's pushed Rosdower's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Rosdower looks up at the clock and then as Heisenberg takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Rosdower smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!

Rosdower decides to take the fight back to the feet.
Zap Rosdower seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Heisenberg throws out a powerful jab.
Rosdower tries to clinch there but Heisenberg circles away.
Rosdower takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.

Rosdower closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Rosdower lands in his opponent's guard.
