Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dos Santos misses with a head kick.
Snake avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Dos Santos tries to close the distance and clinch but Snake swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Snake keeps the fight on the outside.
Dos Santos is looking to clinch.
Dos Santos throws a head kick that looked like it stung.
Dos Santos fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.
Dos Santos is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Dos Santos wants to clinch up but Snake keeps it at a distance.
Dos Santos avoids a low kick by using good footwork.
Dos Santos tries to close the distance and clinch up but Snake swats him away and circles back towards the center.

Dos Santos throws a nice looking combination but Snake bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.

and Dos Santos counters with a flying knee. Nice.

Snake throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Dos Santos was covering up waiting for the punch and Snake finishes the takedown easily into guard.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

Dos Santos wants to get back to his feet but Snake is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
Snake works a leg free and moves into half guard.

and Dos Santos counters with a flying knee. Nice.

and Dos Santos counters with a head kick. That will keep Snake thinking before he tries any more sloppy attacks!

and Dos Santos counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Snake walks forward, straight into a front kick from Dos Santos.
Dos Santos misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Dos Santos fails with an attempt to clinch.
Snake throws a body kick but he was well out of range there.

and Snake counters with a nice double leg into half guard.
Dos Santos pushes Snake off looking to stand but Snake dives back in and keeps control.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Snake is working hard to pass the guard. He's done it - he's now in full mount! Trouble for Dos Santos!

So, who will make the next big move? In this position it could be crucial.
Snake's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. Jake Snake wasn't active enough on the ground.
Dos Santos throws a head kick but Snake moves out of range.
Dos Santos is looking to clinch but Snake is avoiding it.
Snake circles away from the clinch attempt.
Snake shoots in and drives through. Dos Santos sprawls well.
Snake moves out of range of the strikes.
Snake misses with a wild body shot.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Jake Snake showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. This is the final round!

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Both fighters are breathing heavily.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
A lull in the action here.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
