The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gerbe thows a body kick. Roidrage tries to catch it but that hurt him.
Roidrage misses with a low kick.

The fight moves into the clinch position.
Roidrage looking to throw knees to the head but Gerbe is blocking nicely.
Roidrage lands a knee to the head there! That was nasty!

It looks like Tyler Gerbe has been cut.

Gerbe tries to pull guard but Roidrage won't allow it.

The crowd are getting pretty annoyed with Roidrage for his constant stalling in the clinch and are voicing their displeasure.

This has been an exciting period of action!

Roidrage has the Thai clinch. He lands a big knee to the head and Gerbe goes down! Roidrage dives on top of him - Gerbe manages to get guard.

We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

That has opened up Tyler Gerbe's cut even more.

Gerbe has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Roidrage can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
