Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Mike Maginnis (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bill Ward (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Bill Ward told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ward shoots and misses

and Maginnis moves into the clinch.
Maginnis looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this!

Maginnis breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Ward shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Maginnis counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.

so Maginnis counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.
The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves.
Ward is looking to stand up but Maginnis isn't so interested in that idea.

Maginnis drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Ward dives on top into guard.

Maginnis rolls with it to try and escape but Ward cranks on the arm and Maginnis is forced to tap out! This one is aaaaaaaaall over!
