Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Albert Achterberg, Paulsen Ambrosius and Wagner Zegers.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mano avoids the body shot from Rush.
Mano gets caught flat footed, as Rush shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
Rush wants to pass the guard but Mano is keeping the position.
Rush trying to control the position from guard on top but Mano is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Rush drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Rush jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
Rush chips away with some ground and pound.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Rush working for a submission but Mano is keeping him at bay.
Rush punching from mount but Mano doing a good job of avoiding damage.

Mano keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.

Mano defends a decent attempt at a guillotine from Rush.

Mano holding onto his opponent's waist for dear life, as Rush tries to land some strikes to get him to release his grip.
Rush goes for an armbar but he's not got it… Mano turns into him and now he's in Rush's guard.

Rush is pulling down on Mano's head. It's preventing any offense from Mano, at least for the moment.
Rush is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Rush shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Mano moves into the clinch.
The referee is keeping an eye on Rush - much more stalling and he will separate the fighters.
Mano lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage.
Rush drops down looking for an ankle pick but Mano pulls his leg out and moves away.
Rush fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Mano to the ground. Rush is now in Mano's guard.
Rush drops back looking for a leg! Mano is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Mano manages to kick Rush off! Rush jumps back into Mano's guard.

Mano is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
Rush stands up from guard. Let's bang!

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Mano moves in looking to clinch but Rush pushes him off.
Mano tries to clinch but Rush is having none of it.
Rush doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Mano counters by clinching up.

Mano content to slow the pace in the clinch.
Mano lands a right hand that snaps the head of Rush backwards.

Rush tightens his grip and picks Mano up, before dumping him to the ground. Mano manages to land in guard.

The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.

Rush slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
The ref stands the fighters back up because Madden Rush just wasn't active enough.

and Mano holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.
Mano swings away with an uppercut that misses.
Rush is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Mano gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt.

Mano has clasped his hands together around Rush's back... aaand, he's got a takedown into side control. Nicely done.
Rush can't do much from the bottom here.
Mano throws an elbow but Rush slips to the side and avoids it well.

That was a close second round but I would say that Madden Rush will probably get the nod.
That's time! Rush's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!
Rush circles away from the clinch attempt.

It looks like Roma Mano has been cut.
Rush has his takedown stuffed
and Mano counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Mano.
Rush wants a takedown but no success here.
With the fighters clinched against the cage, Mano creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

Rush is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Mano sees it coming and defends easily.
Mano wants to improve his position but Rush is controlling well.
Mano really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Rush. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Rush is keen to just control but Mano is a slippery customer.
Madden Rush is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.

Rush not throwing his punches with enough precision this time.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Madden Rush.

and Rush counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.

Rush prevents Mano from improving his position.
Rush uses his free foot to push down on Mano's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Mano.
Rush takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.

Well I reckon that's a shut out for Rush, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
