Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 8 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Rampage Jackson!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jones throws a right hand that misses

and Jackson counters with a shoot takedown into half guard.
Jones wants to get back to full guard.
Jones is holding on to half guard well.
Jackson not throwing his punches with enough precision this time.
Jones is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Jackson's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Jackson's back!

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Jones remains in side control and seems content to stay there. It's a versatile position from which he can work both strikes and submissions, whilst maintaining that control, so maybe he'll sit here for a while.

That was a close round but I would say that Jon Jones will probably get the nod.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

Jones has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall.
Jackson throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Jones works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
Jackson stands up over Jones, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.

Jackson is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Jones defends it well.

Jackson is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Jones sees it coming and defends easily.
Jones is doing well to control the position and prevent Jackson from advancing to side control.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Jones gets back to full guard.
Jones manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Jackson manages to get himself to full guard.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close second round but I would say that Jon Jones will probably get the nod.
That's time! Jones's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. This is the final round!


Jones throws a low kick, looking for Jackson's leg but Jackson calmly moves out of range.

Jackson avoids a lazy jab quite easily.

Jones feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Jones got a little sloppy there for a moment and Jackson has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Jones has managed to get both his arms back between Jackson's legs - danger averted.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.

Well I reckon that's a shut out for Jones, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
