Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Takanori Gomi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ryan Jones (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jones fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Gomi manages to avoid it.
Gomi misses with a wild combination.
Jones swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Gomi counters with a one-two to the body.

Jones drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Jones jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Gomi wants to stand and escape but instead Jones has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard.

Gomi is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but Jones has just dragged him back down to the mat.

Jones is controlling this nicely and is looking to make no mistakes. Gomi is trying to wiggle out of this horrible position. Gomi flips to his side and attempts to get a leg in for half guard. Jones anticipates the leg and manages to get behind Gomi and secures both hooks! This could be bad! Jones slips an arm under Gomi chin and tries to position for a rear naked choke. Jones has worked the choke in now and it looks tight. Jones is squeezing on Gomi like an anaconda would it's prey. Gomi fails to tap and has fallen unconscious! We've got ourselves a winner by way of a rear naked choke!
