Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Taj Mahal (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dylan Diaz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Diaz has chosen I'd Love to Knock the Hell Out of You as his entrance music. Both fighter's entrance songs getting the crowd jumping here.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mahal throws a lazy uppercut
and Diaz counters with a head kick. That will keep Mahal thinking before he tries any more sloppy attacks!
Mahal shoots in looking for a takedown. Diaz tries to sprawl out of it but Mahal keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Diaz manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Mahal throws a hook to the side of Diaz's head but Diaz sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Diaz is looking to clinch but Mahal is avoiding it.
Mahal looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.
Mahal misses the jab.

Mahal closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
Diaz is not content to let Mahal control the position.
Diaz wants to get back to his feet.
Diaz is refusing to be controlled, as Mahal sits in half guard.

Mahal is completely out with his eyes open, only supported by the cage! Save him ref! Eventually the ref decides to do his job and jumps in - Diaz screams abuse at the incompetent official before going over to celebrate with his corner. Brutal stuff!
