The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Rains looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for Blahs!

Rains looking for a guillotine from mount but Blahs is having none of it.
Blahs throwing punches from his back but nothing is landing.
Rains moves to the back position.
Blahs rolls, trying to escape but Rains keeps control of the position.

Rains working for a choke but Blahs is defending well.

Rains doesn't have the hooks in and Blahs manages to turn into his guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Blahs has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Rains is proving hard to escape from.

Rains has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Blahs can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Blahs decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.
Blahs wants to clinch.
Blahs throws a wild combination but nothing lands.

Rains scores a takedown into full mount!
Blahs is desperately trying to improve his position but Rains has a good base and remains in mount.

Rains has hold of Blahs's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Blahs manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.
Rains is breathing heavily.

Rains working to secure an arm triangle but it's not happening for him just yet.
Blahs is trying to escape but when you're mounted that's not too easy.

Rains is working on an americana here. Ooh, that looks pretty nasty! Nope, Blahs has managed to escape the submission attempt.
Blahs stops Rains from taking his back. Still, being mounted isn't any better.
Blahs is looking to get to half guard.
Blahs swinging wildly from the bottom but he's not landing.
Rains blocks Blahs's feeble attempts to strike from the bottom.
Rains seems to be looking to move to his opponent's back but Blahs is holding on tight.

Rains wants to take his opponent's back but Blahs doesn't allow it.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Blahs is really trying hard to get back to his feet.
Blahs tries to reverse the position but Rains maintains control.

Rains wants to finish this one by submission but Blahs is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from Rains.
Blahs manages to regain half guard. Good work.
Blahs wants to get back to his feet.

Rains is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.

Blahs pushes Rains off and gets back to his feet.

Rains fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Blahs sprawls well initially but Rains persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
Blahs throws a strike from the bottom that misses.

Rains is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
Rains is working hard to pass the guard. He's done it - he's now in full mount! Trouble for Blahs!

Rains is working to isolate an arm here. It's a choreographed submission attempt but he's gone for it anyway - and he's got it! Rains extends the arm and Blahs is forced to tap!
