Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Takeshi Yuudai (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Doran Connell (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Connell has chosen Rob Kelly - Rockstar as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 13 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Doran Connell!
The judges for this bout are Eliza Hachem, Damien Edna and Summer Carpenter.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Yuudai misses with a takedown attempt - Connell sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
No luck for Yuudai with that takedown attempt.
Connell tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Yuudai manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Connell misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.

Yuudai changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Connell tries to avoid it but Yuudai manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Connell to the ground. Connell escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Yuudai will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.

Connell has taken the fight to the clinch.

Yuudai jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but Connell manages to avoid the submission attempt.

Yuudai swings around for an armbar but Connell sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Yuudai's guard.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
