The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gabonica connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Crusher's hands.
Gabonica swings widly with a right hand
and Crusher counters with a kick to the head that grazes his opponent. Gabonica is lucky that one didn't land flush.
Nice defenses there by Crusher.
Gabonica misses with a left hand
and Crusher counters with a three punch combo that has Gabonica backing up. Gabonica nods at Crusher to acknowledge the strikes.
Gabonica lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
Gabonica throws a shot from downtown. Crusher moves away and avoids it.

and Crusher counters with a nice body shot.
Crusher fails in his attempt to clinch.

Gabonica fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Crusher sprawls well initially but Gabonica persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Gabonica cracks Crusher with a big elbow. Oh, he's hurt! Gabonica immediately mounts and start dropping bombs! Crusher is done! The referee jumps in and saves him from any more punishment - a quick and decisive finish by Gabonica!
