Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ninja Assassin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and George Activin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). George Activin has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nice shot by Assassin.
A lazy left from Assassin finds it's target.
A big left from Activin misses.
Activin connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.
Assassin tries to work over Activin's front leg with a kick but Activin checks it.
Assassin throws a leg kick that is checked
and Activin counters with a lovely shot to the body.
Activin looking to land some kicks to the body here.
Ninja Assassin seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Activin paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.
Activin throws out a loose jab but Assassin uses good head movement to avoid it.
Assassin throws an overhand right that lands on Activin's shoulder, as Activin tries to avoid the shot.
Activin tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Assassin was well out of range. Poor timing from Activin.

Assassin shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Activin is pressing down on Assassin's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it.
Assassin won't allow Activin to sweep him here.

Activin isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Assassin stacks Activin on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Assassin!

Activin is looking for a sweep.
Assassin postures up a little and throws a couple of hammerfists but they don't connect properly.
Activin is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Assassin asserts his dominance and retains side control.

Assassin tries for a kimura but Activin is defending well.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Activin sneaks back into half guard.
Activin trying to control from the bottom.
Activin trying to get back to full guard but Assassin takes advantage of the position and moves to full mount!
Assassin looking to ground and pound but Activin is blocking nicely.

Assassin with a couple of short strikes.

It looks like George Activin has been cut.

Assassin moves into side control, trying to work for a kimura. That looks painful! Will he finish!!?? No, Activin has worked his arm free - good work by Activin!
Assassin throwing ground and pound but whilst doing so, he forgets to control position and Activin works his way back to half guard. Good composure under pressure.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Activin is trying to control but can't.

Activin is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Assassin's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Assassin's back!
Assassin tries to break free.
Activin punches the canvas rather than the man.
Activin struggling to keep hold of the position.

Activin is remaining active here, looking for the choke. The more discerning members of the crowd will appreciate his efforts.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Assassin fending off the submission attempt from Activin.

A close round but George Activin will probably get the nod.

The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.

Nice defenses there by Assassin.
Good standup being displayed there by Assassin as he connects with a hook.
Activin throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Assassin throws a decent looking leg kick but it doesn't land clean.
Activin misses with a double jab.
Activin's jab looks to have found its range, popping Assassin under the eye.
Activin throws a low kick but Assassin avoids it.
Assassin shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down.
Assassin waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Activin.
The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as Assassin checks a leg kick.
Activin drops his hands momentarily and Assassin takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.
Activin lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Assassin backs up against the cage.

It looks like Ninja Assassin has been cut.
Assassin connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Activin's hands.
Activin slips a jab from Assassin.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
Activin ducks under a wild hook from Assassin.
Assassin scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent.
Assassin feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Activin's calf.
The fighters circling - Activin throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Activin scores with a jab. Assassin acknowledges it with a nod of the head.
Activin throws a push kick but Assassin slaps the foot to one side.
Assassin takes a jab right on the kisser.

Assassin is rocked!

Assassin gets tagged by a hook that puts him to sleep! Activin points and yells something to his unconcious foe before strutting off. Assassin wakes up just in time to hear Activin thank his coaches in the post fight interview.
