The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Oliveira shoots in and bounces Hayward off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
Oliveira has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.

Hayward escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Oliveira gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Hayward has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Oliveira is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Hayward.

Oliveira is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Hayward doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Oliveira.
Oliveira seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Hayward does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
