Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Urijah Faber (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Peter Boishuizen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Peter Boishuizen told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Boishuizen tries to clinch up but Faber circles away and keeps his distance.
Boishuizen is looking to clinch but Faber is avoiding it.
Peter Boishuizen seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Boishuizen falls off balance throwing a combination

and Faber counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Faber.
Faber won't allow Boishuizen to get back to his feet.

Boishuizen wriggles free and stands up.
Boishuizen tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Faber manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Boishuizen scores with a spinning back kick!
Boishuizen lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Boishuizen.

and Faber counters with a nice double leg into side control. Boishuizen won't be happy with that.

Boishuizen is trying to escape and get back to his feet.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Faber knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Boishuizen on the ground.
Boishuizen regains half guard there - taking advantage of Faber's attempt to lay and pray for a moment.

Faber lands a big elbow - Boishuizen is out of it! He's waving his arms around but his eyes are closed and he's not intelligently defending himself - the ref has no choice but to jump in and stop the fight! This one is in the books! A TKO win for Faber!
