Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Shannon Khoury (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kuba Kubaa (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.

Kubaa fails with the takedown

and Khoury counters by clinching up.

Khoury tries to clinch there but Kubaa circles away.

Khoury moves in looking to clinch but Kubaa pushes him off.
Khoury goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.
Kubaa just misses with a punch to the body.

and Khoury counters with a nice low kick that buckles Kubaa's knee momentarily.

Khoury gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Kubaa to score an easy takedown into full guard.
Kubaa passes Khoury's right leg, so he's now in half guard.
Kubaa tries to pass to full mount but Khoury defends it.
Khoury might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Kubaa works his way into side control.

Khoury is trying to improve his position.

Khoury knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Kubaa on the ground.
Khoury prevents Kubaa from moving into mount.
Khoury wants to control but Kubaa postures up.
Kubaa has control of an arm but Khoury manages to advance to Kubaa's back!
Kubaa breaks Khoury's hooks off and manages to turn into his guard.
Kubaa sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Khoury's guard.

Khoury is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Kubaa pulls his head out easily.

Kubaa is working for a kimura but Khoury is defending it quite comfortably.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Khoury is refusing to be controlled, as Kubaa sits in half guard.

Khoury looks to land a combination but Kubaa avoids it well.

and Khoury counters with a kick to the head that grazes his opponent. Kubaa is lucky that one didn't land flush.

Shannon Khoury seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Khoury swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Khoury lands a nice hook to Kubaa's body. Kubaa takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.

Kubaa shoots in for a takedown and gets it.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Kubaa moves nicely into side control.

Kubaa has hold of Khoury's arm here. He's working for an Americana. It looks like he might have it! Khoury tries to escape but he's just digging himself in deeper - Kubaa cranks the arm and Khoury screams in pain! The ref makes a decision and ends the fight before the tap - no complains from Khoury, who is just happy to have his arm attached to his body.
