Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Thiago Soares (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sergey Vodkin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Soares's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Highway To Hell. Thiago Soares has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Illya Tyunina, Aleksandr Martynov and Dmitry Maklakov.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Vodkin tries to close the distance and clinch up but Soares swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Vodkin misses with a double jab
and Soares counters with a stiff right hand.

It looks like Sergey Vodkin has been cut.
Soares scores with a nice right hand.
Soares bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Vodkin's head.
Vodkin shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Soares as he avoids it easily.
Soares throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Soares throws a series of punches but Vodkin avoids them all with ease.
Soares throws a nice looking combination but Vodkin bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Vodkin.
Vodkin looks gassed!
A right-left combo lands from Soares.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Soares lands a really nice looking cross but Vodkin seems unphased.

Vodkin is rocked!

That's one minute gone in the round.
Soares is looking for an opening here. He's unloaded a big left hand that catches Vodkin flush on the jaw and sends him tumbling to the canvas! Vodkin is out cold! Soares holds back from landing any unnecessary shots to his unconscious opponent, as the referee reacts slowly to the situation. A brutal knockout and then some excellent sportsmanship - this guy is my new favorite fighter!
