Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Lyoto Machida (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jacob Lee (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Machida comes into the arena with Rev Theory - Hell Yeah blaring out of the sound system. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Lee lands with a shot to the body.

Machida manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Lee on his heels. He'll look to pass Lee's guard now, I'm sure.

Lee is looking for a triangle here but Machida uses the submission attempt to pass into side control.
Lee tries to slip a leg under to move to half guard but Machida presses down on the leg and jumps into full mount!
Both fighters really going for it on the ground here!
Lee is in all sorts of trouble here.
Lee is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Machida is standing up, even though he is in mount.
Machida tries for a takedown but Lee sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Lee misses with a series of wild punches.
Machida fails to land the takedown.
Lee throws a left and a right that both miss
and Machida counters with a straight right hand.
Lee displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Machida.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Lyoto Machida. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Lee throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped

and Machida counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Lee!

Lee is flailing around, obviously not happy about being mounted. Machida locks hold of one of his arms and spins for an armbar. He's got it! Lee is forced to tap!
