Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Roger Dandley (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jack Matador (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the fighters buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Roger Dandley!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Jack Matador!
The judges for this bout are Winston Howard, Skip Squint and Eliza Hachem.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dandley fails with the takedown

and Matador counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Dandley's guard now.
Matador wants to control from the top but Dandley keeps moving.
Matador not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.
Let's hope that Matador has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.
Matador throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent.
Matador sitting in guard, not really doing much.
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.

OK we're going to have a standup here. Jack Matador hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart.
Matador throws a left and a right that both miss

and Dandley counters with a nice double leg into guard.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Matador wants to get back to his feet but Dandley is in a dominant position and won't allow it.

Matador keeping moving, preventing Dandley from controlling successfully.
Dandley trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
Matador wants to stand up but Dandley is controlling him.
Dandley looking to sit in guard and control but Matador gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.
Dandley pulls Matador in close to his closed guard and prevents Matador from doing any damage or advancing position.
Matador tries to free his leg and advance position but Dandley is retaining full guard.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Matador content to sit in guard, stalling... Great. Oh but he could get punished here because Dandley has locked up a guillotine! Dandley's face is contorted as he sqeezes tight on the submission attempt - will he finish? Matador is holding on here and Dandley must be using up a lot of energy. Matador has gone limp! He's out! He's out cold! Dandley gets to his feet, tossing aside his stricken foe. Arms raised, he milks the applause from the crowd. Great submission!
