Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Shawn MacArthur (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Chito Hua (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chito Hua is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hua tries to clinch up

and MacArthur decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Hua's guard.

MacArthur drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Hua manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now MacArthur has Hua in his guard.
MacArthur has control of Hua's left arm, preventing Hua from doing any damage.
MacArthur is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
Hua is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Hua looks like he's trying to stand up.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Hua had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. MacArthur defends it easily.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
MacArthur tries to hold on but Hua pushes him away.

Hua is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but MacArthur is surviving well by controlling Hua's body position as best he can.
Hua cracks MacArthur with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.

Hua has hold of MacArthur's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and MacArthur manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.

Hua goes for an armbar but MacArthur turns quickly into his guard - lovely anticipation from MacArthur.
Shawn MacArthur is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
