Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Jin Shiro (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Damein McTapper (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jin Shiro has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 7 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Jin Shiro!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Damein McTapper!
The judges for this bout are Yasuomi Hirokawa, Yukihiro Shimada and Hirohito Nitta.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
McTapper throws a quick inside leg kick.

Shiro clinches with his opponent.
Shiro wants to get back to striking at distance but McTapper won't allow it.
Shiro tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. McTapper just stands there and leans against the cage.
McTapper gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Shiro.
A short right hand to the side of the head by McTapper.
McTapper prevents a takedown attempt there.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Jin Shiro. That's going to take a lot out of him.

McTapper manages to break the clinch.

Shiro has McTapper up against the cage in a clinch.
McTapper stalling here - the referee won't stand for too much of that.
Shiro can't get the takedown.
Shiro tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. McTapper smiles and moves away.

Shiro drives through with a takedown into McTapper's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position.

Shiro controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling.
The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.
McTapper has a butterfly guard looking to sweep but Shiro has passed into side control.

Shiro tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though.

That's two minutes gone in the round.

Shiro has hold of McTapper's arm here. He's working for an Americana. It looks like he might have it! McTapper tries to escape but he's just digging himself in deeper - Shiro cranks the arm and McTapper screams in pain! The ref makes a decision and ends the fight before the tap - no complains from McTapper, who is just happy to have his arm attached to his body.
