Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Neil Jules (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ronaldo Ferreira (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Leandro Rodrigues, Daniel Cesar and Luis Engracia.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jules does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.
Jules shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Ferreira but Ferreira pushes him off and we're back to square one.

Jules decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.

Jules wants to work for an arm triangle but Ferreira is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
Ferreira is trying to stand back up but Jules is controlling him
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Jules is working for a kimura but Ferreira is defending it quite comfortably.

Jules seems to be looking for submissions.

Jules looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.

Ferreira makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Ferreira.
Ferreira tries to land a sweep but no joy.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Jules trying to control but Ferreira is working from the bottom.

Ferreira uses the cage to get back to his feet.
Jules fails with the takedown.
Jules takes one on the chin but keeps coming.

It looks like Neil Jules has been cut.

Ferreira bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Jules's head backwards.

Jules is rocked!
Jules is breathing heavily.
Ferreira is looking to chop away at Jules's legs.

Oh Jules is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Jules doesn't manage to clinch there - Ferreira circles away.

Jules takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
Oooh a lovely combination from Ferreira sends Jules down but not out. Ferreira dives into side control looking to finish.

Ferreira decides to stand back up. Ferreira steps back and let's Jules get back to his feet.
Ferreira goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.
Ferreira connects with a stiff jab that staggers Jules - oh and he follows up with a huge uppercut that knocks him out cold! Man, that was brutal!
