Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Shane Brown (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Gerar Masas (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Shane Brown!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Gerar Masas!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Blasius, Patrick Alders and Saam Ante.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Brown tries to clinch
and Masas counters with a series of strikes. Brown will be more careful next time no doubt.
Masas takes a jab right on the kisser.
Brown fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.

Masas closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Masas lands in his opponent's guard.
Masas is in close to Brown's body, working some short punches and elbows.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Masas is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Masas thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
Masas trying to control the position from guard on top but Brown is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

Masas scoring with some ground and pound.

Masas drops back looking for a leg! Brown is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Brown manages to kick Masas off! Masas jumps back into Brown's guard.
Brown avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.
Masas wants to control from the top but Brown keeps moving.
Masas forces his way into half guard.

Masas is looking for a kimura here.
Masas seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Brown does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
Brown is in trouble now - Masas has advanced to mount!
Brown is breathing heavily.
Masas working the ground and pound effectively.
Brown knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Masas on the ground.

Masas looking to control but Brown is working nicely, looking to advance position himself.

Masas with some aggressive grappling here. He's looking for submissions here, rather than waiting for the opportunity to counter.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Masas is in the full mount, landing strikes.
Masas can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Brown is looking to escape.
Brown on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Brown tries to get out of the position.

Masas is controlling this nicely and is looking to make no mistakes. Brown is trying to wiggle out of this horrible position. Brown flips to his side and attempts to get a leg in for half guard. Masas anticipates the leg and manages to get behind Brown and secures both hooks! This could be bad! Masas slips an arm under Brown chin and tries to position for a rear naked choke. Masas has worked the choke in now and it looks tight. Masas is squeezing on Brown like an anaconda would it's prey. Brown fails to tap and has fallen unconscious! We've got ourselves a winner by way of a rear naked choke!
