Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Marko Polo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Super Jim (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Marko Polo!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 7 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Super Jim!
The judges for this bout are Paulsen Ambrosius, Nard Betker and Daniel Blasius.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Polo fails with the takedown

and Jim counters with a crisp one two that drops Polo! Jim thinks about following him to the mat for a moment but instead steps back and waves Polo to his feet! Polo is in big trouble!
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Polo gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Jim cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.


It looks like Marko Polo has been cut.

Jim feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Polo sprawling to the canvas! Polo rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Jim finish him?!

Jim swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Super Jim seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Jim drops Polo with a beautiful combination! Polo stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Jim is looking for the KO!
Oh Polo is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Jim thuds a left hand into Polo's body.
Polo seems to have got his legs back now.
Polo is breathing heavily.

Jim cracks Polo with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! Polo looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away… can Jim finish him?


Marko Polo's cut is getting worse.
Jim dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Jim fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.

Jim sends Polo crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! Jim is motioning to the referee to let Polo up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet!
Jim throws a right hand that Polo ducks under and follows up with a left that Polo also avoids with ease.

Marko Polo's cut is bleeding quite badly. He's got to try and protect it.
Jim throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Jim throws a right and a left that Polo avoids nicely.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
