The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A shot to the body from Buffalo misses
and Smith counters with a straight punch to the midsection.
Smith fails with the takedown.
Buffalo swings for the body but Smith moves out of range.
A combination from Smith does no damage.
Buffalo throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Buffalo jabs Smith to the body, keeping him at a distance.
Nice straight punches there by Buffalo. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Buffalo.
Jason Smith seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Smith pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Smith closes the distance but Buffalo moves to the side
and Buffalo counters with a right hand to the body.
Smith fails to land the takedown.
Smith drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.
It looks like Jason Smith has been cut.
Smith is breathing heavily.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Buffalo changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.
Buffalo jabs Smith to the body, keeping him at a distance.
