PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Kevin Conlin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Revenge of the Bastard (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Conlin kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Eminem The Way I Am. Revenge of the Bastard will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bastard lands with a cross.
Bastard blocks a jab.
Bastard uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.
Bastard's corner calls for a 1-2. Bastard obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.
Conlin is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Bastard.

Bastard drives through with a takedown into Conlin's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Bastard stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Conlin swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Conlin tries to bum rush Bastard with a series of wild strikes but Bastard uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

Bastard shoots in for a double leg but Conlin sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Conlin shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Conlin showed some decent athleticism there.

Conlin seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Bastard for as long as he can get away with.
