Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between That Guy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tombstone Terry (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 11 - 7 - 0, fighting out of London, That Guy!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 11 - 17 - 0, fighting out of London, Tombstone Terry!
The judges for this bout are Donald Grub, Steven Brown and Paul Tew.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Terry gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Guy to score an easy takedown into full guard.

Guy drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Terry dives on top into guard.

Terry avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Guy controls Terry momentarily but Terry frees himself.

Terry got a little sloppy there for a moment and Guy has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Terry has managed to get both his arms back between Guy's legs - danger averted.

Guy is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.

Guy is working an open guard so Terry takes the opportunity to get back to his feet.

That's one minute gone in the round.

Terry has taken the fight to the clinch.

Terry has hold of one of Guy's legs. Guy is fighting the takedown attempt but Terry gets the trip and lands the takedown into guard.
Terry has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Guy is proving hard to escape from.
Guy might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

Guy working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Terry doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Terry manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Terry trying to control but Guy is working from the bottom.
Guy trying to punch from his back but it's not doing any damage.
Guy trying to keep a closed guard but Terry is proving a slippery customer.
Guy manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!

Guy goes for an armbar but he's fallen flat on his backside there and now Terry is on top in guard.

Guy had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Terry defends it easily.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Terry postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
Guy lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Terry!
Terry wants to control but Guy is having none of it.
Terry bucks up and manages to get a nice reversal! He's in guard on the top - nicely done!

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Terry stopping the sweep attempt from Guy.
Guy utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
Guy keeping moving, preventing Terry from controlling successfully.
Guy keeping full guard, as Terry tries to pass.
Guy has control of Terry's left arm, preventing Terry from doing any damage.
Guy has momentary wrist control but Terry slips an elbow through the middle.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Guy is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Guy throws some sloppy strikes off his back.
Guy tries to land a sweep but no joy.

Terry gets to his feet - Guy follows without any prompting.
Terry wants to clinch up but Guy keeps it at a distance.
Terry closes this distance looking for a takedown but Guy circles away.
Guy throws a sloppy head kick

and Terry counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.

Guy has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Terry is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Guy.
Terry lands a few punches from side control.
Guy really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Guy takes a nasty elbow to the side of the head.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Tombstone Terry dominated that round.
That's time! Back to the action!


Terry wants to clinch.
Guy tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Terry swivels and escapes.
Terry wants to clinch.
Terry connects with a leg kick. Guy looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it.
Guy looks for a takedown but Terry sprawls well.

Guy shoots in for a takedown and gets it.
Guy is looking to stall here but Terry recovers full guard.

Terry avoids the attempt from Guy to control.

Terry has control of Guy's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Guy regains control of the situation pretty easily.
Guy is trying to escape the mount.
Terry is in the full mount, landing strikes.
Guy is desperately trying to improve his position but Terry has a good base and remains in mount.
Terry with a couple of short strikes.
Guy gets back to half guard.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Guy misses with some strikes from the bottom.
Guy trying to control here but he's found himself mounted! Oh no!
Guy is squirming around, avoiding Terry's attempts to control the action.
Guy slips a leg in and gets back to half guard.
Terry tries to stand but his arm is trapped.
Terry is working hard to pass the guard. He's done it - he's now in full mount! Trouble for Guy!
Terry tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.
Guy can't escape the position.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Guy is working hard here to advance position.
Terry landing strikes from the mount.
Terry pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage.
Terry can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Guy is looking to escape.
Terry lands with some vicious ground and pound - can Guy hang on?
Guy tries to lock up and control but Terry gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Tombstone Terry showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. This is the final round!

Guy looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.

Guy shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Guy showed some decent athleticism there.
Guy tries to stand but can't do so whilst Terry controls his leg.
Guy with the ground and pound but Terry uses the opportunity to regain guard.

Terry is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.
Guy throws and elbow that misses. Terry uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Guy's guard. Nice move by Terry!

Guy manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Terry manages to get himself to full guard.

Guy has gone for a leg lock! Terry slips out almost immediately though and dives into Guy's guard.

Guy working for submissions but it's allowed Terry to get to half guard.

Guy wants to get back to full guard.
Terry is thwarting Guy's attempts to control the position.

Terry wants to take a breather but Guy is having none of it.
Terry is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound.
Guy regains full guard. Nicely done.
Terry trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.
Terry tries to free his leg and advance position but Guy is retaining full guard.
Terry stands up over Guy, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.
Tombstone Terry has got the better of the ground game so far.
Terry slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.
Guy trying to control but Terry flips him over like a cheap hooker and has his back!

Guy turns into Terry and is now in his guard.
Terry avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.
The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.
Guy with a flurry of punches that miss.
Guy scoring with punches to the head and body.
Guy with a nice head shot there.
Guy throws and elbow that misses. Terry uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Guy's guard. Nice move by Terry!
Guy has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall.

Guy looks to be working for a triangle here. Oh, it looks like he might have it! Terry has picked Guy up and slammed him! Guy can't keep hold of the triangle and Terry manages to pass to side control!

Guy is looking to work his way out of this bad position but Terry is controlling him well.
Terry slows the pace down.
Sloppy strikes there by Terry.
Terry blocks the strikes from Guy.
Guy manages to get one leg in to regain half guard.
Guy won't allow Terry to pass to mount.
That Guy has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
Tombstone Terry is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.
Terry is trying to control the action in half guard but Guy is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.

And that's the end of the fight!
I would just about give that final round to Tombstone Terry.
Well Terry has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
