And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 12 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Manu Speziale!
The judges for this bout are Eliza Hachem, Bruno Hogan and Damien Edna.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
The fighters circling - Newson throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Speziale looks to land a combination. Newson sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots.
Speziale throws a right hand that misses
and Newson counters with a leg kick that reverborates around the arena.
Speziale pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
Speziale fakes a jab and then connects with a hook.
Speziale throws a right and a left that both miss.
Speziale is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Newson slips a jab from Speziale.
Speziale plants his feet and lands a nice head kick!
Newson lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Speziale checks the leg kick nicely there.
Newson avoids the body shot from Speziale.
Speziale misses with a lunging right hand
and Newson counters with a leg kick.

enabling Newson to counter with a crisp jab.

It looks like Manu Speziale has been cut.
Speziale looks gassed!
Speziale throws a lazy uppercut
and Newson counters with a left to the body.
Speziale will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Speziale misses with a double jab
and Speziale takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Speziale swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Newson counters with a body kick that brings a smile to the face of both fighters.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Newson lands a body shot.
Newson goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.
Newson comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
An inside leg kick from Newson misses.

A looping hook to the body misses from Newson. Speziale does a little dance to reset his feet.
Speziale does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.
Newson scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
Speziale takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
Newson lands a big head kick that sends Speziale to the canvas! Newson follows up with strikes from the mount that forces the ref to step in and stop the fight!
