Manard's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Go Hard Or Go Home. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Zaharov misses with a few strikes there.
Zaharov swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Manard counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.
Zaharov lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Manard at a distance.
Zaharov tries to grapple but his opponent circles

and Manard counters with a flying knee that sends his opponent to the canvas! Manard looking to finish!

Zaharov is rocked!
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Manard passes Zaharov's left leg - he's now in half guard.
Nice strikes from Manard there.
Zaharov is not content to let Manard control the position.
Zaharov misses with some strikes from the bottom.
Manard passes to full mount!
Manard wants to control the pace but Zaharov is squirming around nicely.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Zaharov can do anything to dispel that myth.

Manard is looking for the choke from the back position but Zaharov is controlling his hands well.

Zaharov is displaying good submission defense - not really looking in danger of submitting to the rear naked choke at the moment. That could change in an instant of course if Manard gets his way!
