The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sovzyeski lands with a kick to the temple. Suddo shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?"

It looks like Gennki Suddo has been cut.
Sovzyeski is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Suddo.
Sovzyeski pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Suddo uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Sovzyeski.
Sovzyeski thows a left - swing and a miss!
Suddo slips under a jab from Sovzyeski.
Suddo tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Sovzyeski paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Samsara Sovzyeski seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Sovzyeski fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
Sovzyeski scores with a head kick. Suddo tried to block it but didn't get his arm up in time.
Samsara Sovzyeski is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

Suddo blocks a head kick by Sovzyeski.
Suddo tries to clinch but fails miserably
and Sovzyeski counters with a right hand to the body.
Suddo swings widly with a right hand
and Sovzyeski counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Suddo throws out a token jab with nothing on it.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Sovzyeski enables Suddo to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Sovzyeski manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.
Suddo sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Sovzyeski's guard.
Sovzyeski wants to get back to his feet.

Suddo is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Sovzyeski defends it well.

Suddo in half guard on the top. He's looking for a kimura... He's got it locked and he's managed to free his trapped foot. Sovzyeski tries to escape but it's on too tight and he has to tap! Great BJJ skills there from Suddo!
