Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Xavier Rawlins (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Luke Warm (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rawlins comes to the cage accompanied by Half The Truth by Kaiser Chiefs. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rawlins doesn't manage to clinch there - Warm circles away.
Rawlins closes the distance but Warm moves to the side

and Warm counters with a nice double leg into guard.

Warm drops back looking for a leg! Rawlins is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Rawlins manages to kick Warm off! Warm jumps back into Rawlins's guard.

Rawlins wants to stand up but Warm is controlling him.
Warm trying to control the position from guard on top but Rawlins is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Rawlins wants to sweep here but Warm controlling him for the moment.
Warm stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Rawlins swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Warm is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.
