Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Kawamura Yoshimune (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rob Silva (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Yoshimune might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to The Riverboat Song - Ocean Colour Scene. Silva has chosen MC Primo - Diretoria as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the fighters buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Yoshimune lands a head kick!

Silva drives through with a takedown into Yoshimune's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position.
Yoshimune keeping full guard, as Silva tries to pass.
Yoshimune working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Silva.
Silva has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

Silva thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
Yoshimune wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now.
Silva is working Yoshimune over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.
Yoshimune preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage.
Silva throws a strike but Yoshimune rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.
Yoshimune wants to stand but Silva is controlling his posture from full guard.

Yoshimune knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Silva on the ground.

Silva has thrown up a leg looking for a triangle. Yoshimune doesn't defend quickly enough and Silva has managed to lock this one up! Can Yoshimune escape?! NO! He's tapping out! Damn, that was a quick submission - congrats to Silva on a fantastic submission victory.
