Valuev's entrance music is Eminem: Not Afraid. A fine choice. The crowd seem to be enjoying Van Dijk's choice of entrance music: Notorius B.I.G - Hypnotize. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the ring.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Van Dijk throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Valuev counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Van Dijk thinking.
Van Dijk walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
It looks like Rutger Van Dijk has been cut.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Valuev connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Van Dijk momentarily.
Oooooh!!! Valuev has knocked Van Dijk down with a huge combo! Valuev steps away and waves a wobbly Van Dijk back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!
Van Dijk looks gassed!
Valuev lands a big uppercut and Van Dijk crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Van Dijk looks OK. Valuev waves Van Dijk back to his feet!
That has opened up Rutger Van Dijk's cut even more.
Valuev tries to clinch up but Van Dijk circles away and keeps his distance.
Valuev measures up his opponent and throws a superman punch that connects to the jaw! Down goes Van Dijk! The ref steps in, and that's the ball game folks!
