The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sorza fails with the takedown

and ManiCoba counters with a takedown into side control.

ManiCoba stands up and we're back to a striking position.
Sorza misses with a series of wild punches.

ManiCoba fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Sorza, pushing him back against the cage.
Sorza blocks the elbow strike.
Sorza jumps guard but ManiCoba stands there with Sorza around his waist. Sorza gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
Sorza is looking for a takedown up against the cage. ManiCoba gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Steve Sorza. That's going to take a lot out of him.

ManiCoba pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Sorza darts in trying to clinch

and ManiCoba counters with a nice double leg into side control. Sorza won't be happy with that.

ManiCoba is working for what looks like an arm triangle here. Sorza is trying to escape and ManiCoba transitions quickly into an armbar! He's slapped it on tight and Sorza is forced to tap! Nice work there by ManiCoba! Very nice indeed!
