Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Victor Conroy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Hanz Stokenhizer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Stokenhizer is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by The Lucky Bullets "Cross the Line". The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Stokenhizer throws a lazy uppercut

and Conroy counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Conroy.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
Conroy stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Stokenhizer swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Conroy throwing strikes but missing.
Conroy wants to control from the top but Stokenhizer keeps moving.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Conroy loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.
Stokenhizer pulls Conroy in to control the position.

We're going to have a standup here because Victor Conroy wasn't active enough for the referee's liking.
Stokenhizer tries to close the distance and clinch up but Conroy swats him away and circles back towards the center.

and Stokenhizer counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.

Conroy changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Stokenhizer fights it off and pushes away nicely.

Stokenhizer lands a monster head kick that reverborates around the arena! The crowd goes wild as Conroy crumples to the floor! Stokenhizer milks the crowd's applause and if that isn't knockout of the night, I will be very surprised!
