Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Aaron White (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Guy Owen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). White comes to the cage accompanied by Why Can't We Be Friends. Aaron White has a significant reach advantage - let's see if he can make it count.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
White throws a head kick that misses.
White blocks a head kick by Owen.
White looks to throw a body kick
and Owen counters with a lovely straight right hand!
White really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
White misses the shot to the body.
Owen thuds his shin into the meat of White's side.

Owen instigates a clinch.
Owen with a knee to the head.

White pulls guard successfully.
Owen trying to stand up but can't free himself from White's guard.

Owen stands up from White's guard - Owen perhaps looking for a knockout.

Owen breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Owen tries to land a front kick but White steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.

and Owen counters with a body kick that stops White in his tracks momentarily.
White is breathing heavily.
Owen moves out of range of the body kick from White.
White avoids the head kick by Owen.

Owen instigates a clinch.
White is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage.

Owen pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Owen lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but White circles away quickly and effectively.

Owen blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning.

and Owen counters with a head kick. That will keep White thinking before he tries any more sloppy attacks!

and Owen counters by moving into the clinch.
White jumps guard but Owen stands there with White around his waist. White gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.

Owen breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Owen throws a sloppy head kick and White moves out of range easily.
White closes the distance looking to clinch
and Owen counters with a big head kick but White shrugs it off.
White throws a right hand that misses

and Owen counters by clinching up.
White drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Owen gets the underhooks and prevents it.

Owen breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
White tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Aaron White seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
White goes for a high kick. It partially lands.
Owen throws a body kick but he wasn't in range.

White on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.
White misses with a double jab
and Owen counters with a body kick.
Owen throws a sloppy head kick and White moves out of range easily.
White closes the distance looking to clinch

and Owen holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.

Owen breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
White has his takedown stuffed
and Owen counters with an outside leg kick.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Owen pulls out of a head kick attempt.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

White throws a left and a right that both miss
and Owen counters with a good low kick that White was not able to check.
White tries to clinch
and Owen counters with a head kick.
Owen misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Owen tries to clinch up but White circles away and keeps his distance.
White blocks the body kick.
White thumps Owen with a low kick.
White shoots in but doesn't get the takedown

and Owen holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.
White has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Owen is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.
White jumps guard but Owen stands there with White around his waist. White gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.

Aaron White is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Owen connects with a single shot there.

White is rocked!
White sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs.

Owen fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with White, pushing him back against the cage.
White takes a knee right on the jaw!

Owen lands a big knee! That's hurt White! Oh, he's all over the place! Owen lands another knee that sends White to the floor and the referee steps in to end the fight!
